Rand Group is seeking an Events & Marketing Content Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys managing virtual events, coordinating webinars, creating content, and helping turn marketing programs into polished, engaging experiences for prospects, clients, and partners.

 

The Events & Marketing Content Specialist will play a key role in planning and executing virtual events, managing webinar logistics, supporting Rand Group’s YouTube channel, processing video content, writing blog creation, and coordinating occasional in-person events. This is a 100% remote position, but candidates should have a valid passport and be willing to travel to the United States for select company, client, partner, or industry events.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

Virtual Events & Webinar Coordination

  • Coordinate virtual conferences and webinars from planning through post-event follow-up.
  • Set up events in virtual event and webinar platforms.
  • Manage registration pages, speaker communications, sponsors, calendar holds, reminders, and attendee communications.
  • Coordinate with internal subject matter experts, sales teams, partners, and external speakers.
  • Support live event execution, including attendee management, Q&A coordination, troubleshooting, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Track event performance, attendance, engagement, and follow-up needs.

YouTube Channel Management & Video Processing

  • Manage routine updates to Rand Group’s YouTube channel.
  • Upload, organize, title, tag, and optimize video content.
  • Process webinar recordings and marketing videos for on-demand use.
  • Perform light video editing, trimming, formatting, and cleanup.
  • Coordinate thumbnails, descriptions, captions, playlists, and publishing schedules.
  • Help repurpose webinar and event content into video clips, blog content, and campaign assets.

Blog & Marketing Content Creation

  • Draft, edit, format, and publishing blog content.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to turn technical insights into clear, useful marketing content.
  • Support content calendars, campaign timelines, and asset coordination.
  • Help repurpose event and webinar content into blogs, summaries, email copy, social posts, and website content.
  • Ensure content is accurate, polished, on-brand, and aligned with Rand Group’s marketing standards.

In-Person Event Coordination

  • Assist with planning and logistics for in-person events, conferences, partner events, and client-facing activities.
  • Coordinate event details such as registrations, shipping, booth materials, signage, schedules, staffing, travel details, and follow-up.
  • Support pre-event and post-event communications.
  • Travel within Canada or to the United States as needed for select events.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, event coordination, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience coordinating webinars, virtual events, or digital marketing programs.
  • Experience with YouTube channel management, video uploads, or video content processing.
  • Basic video editing or video formatting experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical and B2B subject matter.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, speakers, and stakeholders at once.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel to the United States for occasional in-person events.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in B2B technology, software, ERP, CRM, professional services, or consulting. Experience with Microsoft, NetSuite, or Sage products preferred.
  • Familiarity with webinar platforms, virtual event tools, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, CMS platforms, or YouTube Studio.
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, GoToWebinar, VirtualPro, Adobe, Teams, or similar products.
  • Experience supporting demand generation campaigns, partner marketing, or event-based lead generation.
  • Understanding of SEO basics and content optimization.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable owning the details that make marketing programs successful. They can keep multiple projects moving without losing track of deadlines or details.

 

This person should enjoy working behind the scenes to make events, content, and campaigns run smoothly, while also being comfortable collaborating with executives, consultants, sales teams, partners, and subject matter experts.

 

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD $65,000–$75,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

 

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote role based in Canada. Occasional travel within Canada and the United States may be required for in-person events, conferences, partner meetings, or company activities.
