Responsibilities

Who You Are:

A tenured, energetic marketing communications professional who is ready to take on an important and evolving role in our firm – driving both client and Rand Group communications strategies and coordinating the resources of the digital team to successfully drive high impact communications programs. With a keen interest in digital communications while fully understanding the critical role that brand, strategy and planning play in developing multi-faceted marketing communications programs, you will use your creative streak combined with your communications experience to contribute positively to our business goals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field (minimum of 3 years digital communications) and hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing Communications or related field of study. Experience in B2B markets preferred.

 

Duties will include but are never limited to:

  • Development of Company/Client/Partnerships value proposition, positioning and messaging (Brand DNA materials)
  • Brand definition and/or product positioning
  • Marketing strategy and plan development for multi-vehicle campaigns
  • Project lead communications oriented client projects
  • Creation of digital (and print) content for a variety of communications platforms (Websites, emails, social media channels, Press Releases, video scripts etc.)
  • Involvement with budget development and management
  • Preparation of presentations, sales tools and speeches

Qualifications

The Requirements:

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Superior project management and time management skills
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
